Why is Classroom Management Important
1. Efficient use of time and classroom space.
2. Implementation
of strategies that influence students to make good choices, rather than ones
that
attempt to control student’s behavior.
3. Wise choice and effective implementations of instructional strategies.
These three key elements are helping the teacher to organizing routine procedures, arranging the environment to maximize efficiency, monitoring students’ progress and solving classroom management problems. Without classroom management, even the most carefully planned activity nor carried out by the most well-behaved class can quickly become a confusing mess which is not suitable for effective learning that make the students learn much lesser than they could. For that reason, it is the teacher’s responsibility to provide the instructional program and classroom environment that allow each child to develop their capacities to the fullest and learn effectively by using classroom management.
